External Mail

The external folder manages other external POP accounts in addition to @MESSAGE. @MESSAGE will bring mail from the external POP accounts when the user clicks the [Check Mail] button. In other words, if you have multiple POP accounts, users can have total mail management in @MESSAGE without the need to log into each accounts to check and read mail. Mail from all accounts will be received by @MESSAGE, when clicking on the [Check Mail] button. Each time a user click the [Check Mail] button, all mail accounts will be seached for new messages.

* Users can register their external folder only when the mail sever supports the POP3 service.

  • Registering and Modifying External Mailbox
  • If you click on the () button to register the external mailbox, a form for the external mailbox registeration will appear as shown in the Figure below. In this form, users will be reqired need to enter a name of the external POP3 server, ID and password to be used for the server. Then they must set the retrieval option decide whether to save the mail from the external mailbox(s).

    For example, if you use 3R Soft as the POP server, if you need to input "mail.3rsoft.com" in POP3 server field, enter the 3R Soft ID and password, and store this value. Users can bring a unread mail by choosing the [Only New Messages] option. The final step is to logging in POP3 server by clicking the [Check New Mail] button. All incoming mails from external accounts will be brought mail and saved to the [Inbox].
