Compose

This menu is for the mail composer. When viewing a message, users can either [Forward] or [Reply] to a message.

  • Recipient Designation
  • First, to send a message enter the e-mail address of Recipient in either [To], [CC] or [BCC]. To send a message to multiple Recipients, enter their e-mail addresses placing the comma (,) or the semicolon (;) between them.

    To select e-mail address from the Address Book, click the address icon( ) and then select the address or group in the e-mail column or [Compose] checking TO, CC and BCC one by one. Once the addresses or groups are selected, the e-mail addresses will be entered in the corresponding sections in the [Compose] section.

    Recipient (TO) This item allows the user to enter the e-mail address of the recipient.
    Carbon Copy (CC) Carbon Copy (CC) allows a user to enter the e-mail address to whom the message will be referred to.
    Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) Blind Carbon Copy allows a user to enter the e-mail address. The recipeint address will be hidden from each address.

  • Selecting the Message Type.
  • Select [TEXT] to write a text message and [AUTO] to write an HTML message. The default message type is selected as [AUTO]. By selecting the MSIE DHTML editor on the Preferences under the Options menu, a HTML toolbar will appear on the Compose window. It will be able to compose messages in a WYSIWYG format.

  • Selecting the Priority Level
  • This item allows a user to select the priority level of a message to be sent and there are the total of 5 priority levels available to choose from. Any priority level designated here is compatible with most mail programs, but method of indicating priority levels may be different depending on programs. Out of the priority levels defined in @MESSAGE, [Very High] is indicated by the icon , [High] by , [Nomal] by , [Low] by , and [Very Low] by

  • Signature Attachment
  • Check [Signature Management] to attach a signature at the end of each out-going message.

  • Signature Modification
  • This item allows a user to modify the signature directly from the [Compose] menu. This allows editing of the signature to be attached to a message to be sent.

  • Save Copy To Sent Folder
  • This item allows a user to check whether or not to save a sent message. Also, this item helps to categorize sent messages in the [Sent] folder and reuse them later.
