Bulletin Board

@MESSAGE administrator is given the authority to manage the bulletin board. (The authority of bulletin board administrator can be assigned to another user by the @MESSAGE administrator.) The boards that are provided by default are as shown follows and the administrator can add or delete boards.

  • Notice : This bulletin board is used to convey notices to @MESSAGE users. When the administrator posts a message on to this bulletin, it is displayed during login.
  • Member Board : Only @MESSAGE users can read and write from/to this board.
  • CUG Board : A distinct Closed User Group (CUG) can be created and this board is only visible to its members. @MESSAGE administrator can appoint a board administrator who can also manage the group.
  • Q&A Board : This board enables the posting of questions and answers. A user can read and write to the board.
  • Free Board : This board can be read and written to even by non-users of @MESSAGE.
  • Writing answer on bulletin board
  • There are two methods available to search, one is to search in successive order the other is to search using a word search.

    The bulletins board are threaded so that any question can immediately followed by the corresponding answer. Therefore, since these bulletins are successively listed, if there are too many bulletins posted, it might be rather cumbersome to search through the entire bulletins. In this case, it must be a better idea to search using a search word.

    Enter object items to be searched for and select an appropriate search word to search for within bulletins. The search items include [Subject], [Text] and [Name]. Since the items are bound with the OR operator, if you check [Subject] and [Text] and enter sendmail in the search column to search for bulletins related to sendmail.
